This stunning lakefront estate in Wayzata is modern luxury at its finest. With natural stone walls, floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening to lake views, and a seamless indoor-outdoor entertaining space, this home needed a cleaning team that could match its level of sophistication. An Entertaining Space Unlike Any Other

The main living area is built for gatherings. A long dining table seats eight and sits beneath a modern cage-style pendant light and ceiling-mounted infrared heaters. Beyond the table, a lounge area with white upholstered seating faces a sleek linear fireplace set into natural limestone walls. Massive sliding glass doors open to the lakefront, blurring the line between indoors and out.

Our team started with the natural stone walls. Limestone is porous and picks up dust and grime over time, especially in textured surfaces. We used a stone-safe cleaner and soft brushes to carefully clean each section without disturbing the natural finish. The fireplace surround got the same treatment, with extra attention to the hearth area where soot and ash can settle.

The large-format limestone floor tiles were swept, mopped, and dried to a clean matte finish. We paid special attention to the grout lines between the tiles, which can darken over time. The result was a floor that looked as fresh as the day it was installed.

Glass That Sparkles

With walls of floor-to-ceiling glass, window cleaning was a major part of this job. These doors and windows frame the lake view, and even a few smudges or water spots can take away from the experience. Our team cleaned every pane inside and out, including the sliding door tracks where dirt and debris collect.

We also cleaned the dark metal window frames and door hardware. The matte black finish on the frames shows fingerprints and dust easily, so we used a gentle cleaner and microfiber cloths to wipe everything down without leaving streaks.

The white upholstered lounge furniture in the seating area looked beautiful but needed careful attention. White fabric shows every mark, so we vacuumed each cushion and spot-treated any visible marks with an upholstery-safe cleaner. The woven outdoor-style dining chairs were dusted and wiped down individually.

The modern pendant light and ceiling fan were cleaned and dusted. The infrared ceiling heaters, which are easy to overlook, were wiped down to remove dust buildup that can affect their performance.

The kitchen area features dark stone countertops and sleek cabinetry that flows into the main entertaining space. We cleaned every surface, polished the countertops, and wiped down the cabinetry faces. The dark finishes in the kitchen contrast beautifully with the light stone walls, but they also show every water spot and fingerprint. Our team made sure everything was polished to perfection.
