When the owners of this stunning Minnetonka home reached out to Le Vvintre Living, they wanted their designer kitchen to shine like the day it was built. This was no ordinary kitchen. With soaring vaulted ceilings, round porthole windows, and a massive marble island, every surface needed special attention. Our team was thrilled to take on the challenge.
A Kitchen Built for Entertaining
This open-concept kitchen is the heart of the home. The huge marble-topped island seats five and serves as the main gathering spot for family and friends. Three glass pendant lights hang from the cathedral ceiling, and lit glass-front cabinets frame the custom range hood. Behind the island, floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light and offer views of the wooded backyard.

Our Approach to Premium Surfaces
Marble countertops are beautiful, but they need gentle care. Our cleaners used pH-neutral products made for natural stone. We cleaned and buffed every inch of the massive island, paying close attention to the edges and the area around the sink. The calacatta marble backsplash behind the stove got the same careful treatment.
The hardwood floors throughout the main level were swept, vacuumed, and cleaned with a wood-safe solution. We made sure to get under the island stools and along every baseboard. The result was a warm, natural glow that matched the rest of the home.
Stainless Steel Done Right
This kitchen features a full suite of commercial-grade stainless steel appliances, including a Sub-Zero refrigerator, built-in oven, and microwave. Stainless steel shows every fingerprint and smudge, so we used a professional-grade stainless cleaner and microfiber cloths to polish each appliance until it was streak-free.
We also cleaned inside the glass-front upper cabinets. These illuminated display cabinets are a showpiece, and dusty shelves would ruin the effect. Our team carefully removed items, wiped down each shelf, and replaced everything just as it was.
Reaching the High Spots
The vaulted ceiling with its round accent windows is a gorgeous design feature. But it also collects dust and cobwebs in places most people cannot reach. Our team used extension tools to dust the ceiling peaks, clean the porthole windows, and wipe down the pendant light fixtures. These small details make a big difference in how the whole room feels.
