About This Project
This architectural masterpiece on the water in Plymouth is unlike anything we have cleaned before. With soaring cathedral ceilings clad in natural wood, two-story walls of glass, a sculptural ring chandelier, and a stone fireplace that reaches to the roofline, this home demanded our full attention. The homeowners called Le Vvintre Living to make every inch of this showpiece sparkle, and our team rose to the occasion.
A Great Room That Takes Your Breath Away
The main living space is the definition of grand. A vaulted tongue-and-groove wood ceiling with dark steel beams soars overhead. Below, walls of floor-to-ceiling glass on three sides bring in lake views and natural light from every angle. A massive stone column and fireplace anchors one side of the room, while designer furniture — a cream sectional, geometric-print accent chairs, and brass side tables — fills the space with style.
Our team started at the top. The wood-planked ceiling was dusted panel by panel using extension tools. The steel beams were wiped down to remove dust without scratching the matte finish. The sculptural ring chandelier, which hangs from the peak of the ceiling, was cleaned piece by piece. A fixture like this collects dust quickly and is nearly impossible to reach without the right equipment.
Next came the glass. With two stories of windows wrapping around the room, this was the biggest window-cleaning job we have done in a single space. Every pane was cleaned inside and out. The black steel window frames were wiped down with a gentle cleaner to remove fingerprints and water spots. The sliding glass doors and their tracks were cleaned thoroughly so they glide smoothly.
Stone, Steel, and Fire
The floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace is a work of art. Natural ledgestone in soft gray tones runs from the hearth all the way up to the ceiling peak. The concrete mantel and firebox surround add a modern edge. Our team used soft brushes and stone-safe cleaners to remove dust from every crevice in the stone without disturbing the natural texture.
The firewood storage nook beside the fireplace was cleaned out and reorganized. We wiped down the concrete surfaces and made sure the hearth area was free of ash and debris.
Designer Furniture and Fine Details
The furniture in this home is curated and high-end. The cream linen sectional was vacuumed and spot-treated. Each geometric accent chair was cleaned individually — the patterned upholstery needed careful attention to avoid watermarks. The brass and glass side tables were polished, and every decorative pillow was fluffed and arranged.
The large area rug anchoring the seating area was vacuumed thoroughly. The white oak hardwood floors were cleaned with a wood-safe solution, paying special attention to the transition areas between rooms and the space near the sliding doors where dirt tracks in.
